True North Sports + Entertainment is planning for an exciting renovation to rejuvenate the Bell MTS Place skywalk that connects Portage Place and Cityplace along Hargrave Street, including the Cityplace bridge.

To accommodate the project in a condensed timeframe, the skywalk will close Monday, May 6 and reopen in September.

New flooring, an LED lighting upgrade and a new colour scheme will align the skywalk with the fit and finish of Bell MTS Place as well as provide a brighter and more durable space to withstand the heavy volume of foot traffic.

The renovations are part of True North’s multi-year venue improvement plan and represent the ongoing commitment to reinvestment in the company’s venues and facilities.

Follow Bell MTS Place social channels – @bellmtsplace, facebook.com/bellmtsplace, and Instagram.com/bellmtsplace – and visit tnse.com for progress updates throughout the summer, including arena access information for events being held at Bell MTS Place during construction.

True North’s All Access team has more on what to expect during and after the closure.
