True North Sports + Entertainment and the Winnipeg Football Club (WFC) are pleased to welcome Brokenhead Ojibway Nation Development Corporation (BON) as the title sponsor of the 2026 Thunder Stadium Concert Series. Hosted at Princess Auto Stadium, the two-day festival features global superstar Kane Brown and multi-platinum artist Bailey Zimmerman as headliners of Country Thunder on July 3, and rock legends Mötley Crüe headlining Rockin’ Thunder on July 4.

Reflecting BON Development Corporation’s ongoing commitment to supporting economic growth, community engagement, and inclusive experiences for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Manitobans, the partnership will create meaningful opportunities for First Nation people and communities across the region within the live entertainment industry.

“As a Nation, we are proud to see Brokenhead involved in events that bring people together and create new opportunities for our members and for First Nation people across Manitoba,” said Chief Gordon BlueSky. “This partnership shows that First Nations have an important role to play in business, tourism, entertainment, and community-building.”

First Nation youth and young adults who may be interested in careers in the entertainment industry, including event production, hospitality, marketing, security, operations, and live event management will have opportunities for employment and exposure within the industry as part of the two-day festival.

“True North and The Winnipeg Football Club are excited to partner with BON Development Corporation and expand the impacts of our Thunder Stadium Concert Series beyond the entertainment experience,” said Kevin Donnelly, Sr. Vice President Venues & Entertainment with True North Sports + Entertainment. “Our province has a vibrant entertainment scene, and we look forward to sparking interest and creating meaningful pathways to careers within our industry for the First Nations community.”

Remaining Country Thunder seats now $99.50 plus fees

All remaining Country Thunder seats (excluding VIP experiences and General Admission pit access) are now priced at $99.50 plus fees until June 29, while supplies last.

Fans will enjoy the gamut of country genres in an dynamic night of live music under the stars – from genre-blending favourite Kane Brown and his signature R&B, pop, and hip-hop flavours; the gritty rock-infused sound of viral sensation Bailey Zimmerman, who makes his Winnipeg headlining debut after opening for Morgan Wallen in 2023; the rebellious grunge and punk tones of platinum chart-topper Koe Wetzel; and the raw but tongue-in-cheek pop notes of rising Canadian star, singer-songwriter and storyteller Robyn Ottolini.

Both standing and seated VIP options are still available for both shows, offering exclusive front-of-stage viewing and access to upgraded amenities, early entry, express service at merchandise kiosks and private, elevated restrooms.

Visit Ticketmaster.ca to see the full lineup and purchase tickets for Country Thunder and Rockin’ Thunder.

True North Sports and the WFC gratefully acknowledge the support of Tourism Winnipeg and the City of Winnipeg in presenting the 2026 Thunder Stadium Concert series.
