Mötley Crüe includes Winnipeg stadium show during 45th anniversary year

Three Days Grace, Halestorm and JJ Wilde join second annual Rockin’ Thunder lineup July 4

Rock legends Mötley Crüe will “kickstart” Winnipeg’s summer at the second annual Rockin’ Thunder at Princess Auto Stadium July 4. Presented by True North Sports + Entertainment and The Winnipeg Football Club, the Saturday night rock spectacle will also feature openers Three Days Grace, Halestorm and JJ Wilde. Tickets are on sale Friday, Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.ca. 

Rockin’ Thunder is part of an epic summer weekend of live music, kicking off Friday, July 3 with the previously announced Country Thunder, headlined by global superstar Kane Brown and multi-platinum country superstar Bailey Zimmerman, and joined by multi-platinum chart topper Koe Wetzel and singer-songwriter Robyn Ottolini.

Multi-platinum Three Days Grace has dominated rock charts over the last two decades with 20 No. 1 singles including Animal I Have Become, I Hate Everything About You, Pain and Never Too Late. In 2024, the band welcomed back original lead singer Adam Gontier, now co-fronting with his successor Matt Walst.
