Glenda joined True North Real Estate Development (TNRED) in the early phases of the construction of True North Square. With nearly 25 years of experience in the building and transportation sectors, Glenda’s project management background in construction includes other large-scale urban infrastructure projects such as the RBC Convention Centre Expansion, and the Disraeli Bridges Project. With TNRED Glenda recently completed the Wawanesa National Headquarters, the fifth tower planned at True North Square.

 

In her current role, Glenda is responsible for the coordination of resources, design and construction teams and development of processes to ensure TNRED’s projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. Glenda’s ability to forge strong relationships with project teams, including design consultants, contractors and subtrades has led to successful outcomes on a diverse range of projects. Glenda is an experienced public speaker and is well versed in the organization, development and management of project documents, processes, and project plans.

 

Prior to joining True North Real Estate Development, Glenda was with a consulting firm specializing in professional project management. Her experience includes working at an engineering consulting firm, with roles on both design-build and Public-Private-Partnership (P3) projects. Glenda also worked in the provincial public sector for ten years.

 

Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Glenda attended the University of Manitoba and holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture. She also holds her Masters Certificate in Project Management, her Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification and is a LEED® Green Associate. Glenda has called Manitoba home for nearly three decades, living and working centrally in Winnipeg.
