Ainsley Rice

Vice President Legal & General Counsel

As Vice President, Legal & General Counsel with True North Sports + Entertainment, Ainsley is responsible for overseeing all legal matters across the organization and its affiliated entities. She joined True North in 2014 after practicing law in Calgary at a national firm and later in Winnipeg, advising clients on a wide range of legal issues. Her background brings both big firm experience and local insight to her role.

Ainsley attended Western University, where she competed on the varsity squash team before earning her law degree from Robson Hall at the University of Manitoba.

A dedicated community builder, Ainsley is actively involved in Winnipeg’s charitable and sports communities. She has served in numerous board, coaching, and volunteer roles, including as a board member of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, and assisting with legal work for the True North Youth Foundation and the Downtown Community Safety Partnership.

She is the proud parent of Henry and Theodora.
